But Karen’s like, “Nope, wasn’t me,” and says she’s being totally framed and that there’s a police cover-up.
The first trial? It was insane. There were protests, people holding “Free Karen Read” signs, and TikTok was going OFF. Her lawyers were all, “This is corruption!” and the prosecution was like, “She’s guilty!” And the jury? Couldn’t agree on anything. So the judge was like, “Yeah no, mistrial,” on July 1st.
